What is Dye Sublimation?
Dye Sublimation is a process where chemical ink is encapsulated and dyed into a variety of moisture management materials. The ink is encapsulated and dyed into a variety of moisture management materials through heat transfer. The process begins by printing the Dye based inks onto specialised sublimation paper with state of the art Roland and Epson printers. It is then embedded into the fabric using a wide format heat press process producing the garment.
The sublimation refers to the solid ink on the paper that is heated, turning the ink into vapour and trapping it inside of the fibres of the fabric.
Our quality process starts at the design. We double check each colour we use on garments to make sure we replicate your brand colour. We match the same tones and depth of colour.
Once artwork is checked and sent to print, it gets printed on a 10% scale and pressed on fabric to ensure once again the colour is consistent.
The printing then commences, with key personnel checking each and every aspect of the print quality and quantities continuously.
After the printed paper gets pressed onto the fabric, a team of trained staff once again checks for any impurities. We also inspect for small flaws in the pressed fabric. The finished product will be referred back to the printers in the rare instance that we might find small flaws.
Our print quality is superior to our competitors. We believe in using the best ink, paper and fabric in the industry to make stunning products that will make you stand out from the crowd.
It is literally impossible to wash out because dye based ink gets encapsulated into the fabric. It is however sensitive to UV exposure for extended periods.
